Williams Whittle Joins Yes&: Amplifying Nonprofit Expertise

In January 2025, Williams Whittle joined Yes& and Yes& Lipman Hearne, bringing more than 55 years of nonprofit marketing experience to an agency already known for its strategic, creative, and integrated expertise serving nonprofit organizations.

For decades Williams Whittle—based, like Yes&, in Alexandria, Virginia—helped mission-driven organizations expand their reach, inspire action, and create lasting change. Now, as part of Yes&, the Williams Whittle team is even better positioned to help nonprofits take advantage of their 501(c)(3) status to broaden the reach of their integrated organizational message.

Williams Whittle’s work spans healthcare, military/veterans, social impact, and green marketing. One particular area of strength is in PSA campaign development. The team has found success by assigning a dedicated media outreach director for each PSA account, analyzing the most promising DMAs and fundraising markets using a proprietary “likely to air” metric, and localizing pitches with human-centered stories. Williams Whittle even wrote The PSA Playbook: A Nonprofit’s Guide to Success, a go-to resource for nonprofits looking to maximize their impact through public service announcements, and a shorter version, the PSA Fact Sheet

For more than 15 years, Williams Whittle delivered three annual research reports on Donors, PSA Directors, and, most recently, Gen Z. With Yes&, this thought leadership will continue, bringing the best of Williams Whittle’s experience together with Yes& knowledge and tools, for example, by augmenting the Gen Z study already underway at Yes& Lipman Hearne.
